Twin City Trolleys is very excited to announce the arrival of the newest tour guide who has come aboard to lead our Architecture Tours. A man who has spent decades studying the Twin Cities' architectural past and present, which he has written extensively about in Twin Cities Then and Now, Lost Twin Cities, and notably in the definitive guide to Minneapolis-St. Paul structures, AIA Guide to the Twin Cities, the distinguished Larry Millett.
Mr. Millett's intricate knowledge of the history of the area, married with the chance to see it up close from the comfort of our period-designed Trolleys will be an illuminating and unforgettable ride. If you have seen the recent KTCA documentary series aired on TPT Lost Twin Cities based on Millett's research, you'll know the seriousness of this man's dedication to unearthing the forgotten history of Minnesota, deciphered through its demolished edifices. Now you'll be able to ride along, taking in the sights and sites through the expansive Trolley windows, as Mr. Millett points you to the warehouses, mansions, and structures that once were, as well as expanding your knowledge about the ones that remain.
